Golden Isles brokerage leader announces winners of their 2018 annual awards
ST. SIMONS ISLAND, GA (January 10, 2019) – Each year, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Hodnett Cooper Real Estate recognizes agents that have demonstrated outstanding listing and sales performance, a positive attitude, devoted work ethic and a positive impact on the community. The following agents were recently awarded for their 2018 accomplishments:
George Skarpalezos – Top Producing Agent of the Year
George Skarpalezos was honored with the “Top Producing Agent of the Year” Award. This award recognizes the exceptional level of accomplishment for the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Hodnett Cooper agent with the highest sales volume for the year.
George finished 2018 with over $13 million in total sales volume.

Jill Wright – Open Heart & Hands Award
Jill Wright was the recipient of the “Open Heart & Hands Award” for 2018. She was nominated by her peers for her numerous charitable efforts and positive community impact.
Jill works with several organizations to assist with animal rescue and support. She also lends time to the GIAR Community Relations Committee, assists with the Shop with a Realtor program, Dinner in a Basket, and more.
“This is one of the hardest awards to give out because so many of our agents make a positive impact on our community. Jill lends a hand to numerous animal rescue efforts and dedicates her time to several organizations. She is passionate and compassionate and keeps our team informed on how we can help too. Jill has a lot of pride and dedication for what she does and it shows.”
DeAnne Cohrs – Young Gun Award
The Young Gun Award recognizes an agent that has joined the real estate industry within the last 24 months who has demonstrated dedication, a positive attitude and has had an exceptionally outstanding listing and sales performance. REALTOR, DeAnne Cohrs was the recipient of this award.
DeAnne has achieved over $3 million in sales during her first year as a real estate agent. She is active in the local community and is enthusiastically engaged in the real estate industry, serving on the Golden Isles Association of Realtors’ Young Professionals Network and on the Governmental Affairs Committee.
